Client: Moncada Water District
Location: Municipality of Moncada, Tarlac

Moncada, Tarlac — home to over 62,800 residents (2020 census) is experiencing growing demand for clean, reliable water as both household needs and agricultural production continue to expand. The municipality’s economy is deeply rooted in farming, producing staple crops such as rice, corn, vegetables, root crops, watermelons, and mangoes. Source: Philatlas
However, increasing water consumption from both residential and commercial sectors has strained existing water sources. Ensuring a sustainable supply is no longer optional — it’s essential to support Moncada’s people, crops, and businesses.

To address this issue, our client sought expert support to locate and drill deep wells that would deliver consistent and safe water. The challenge was twofold: first, to identify geologically viable sites that could yield long-term water access; and second, to apply the right drilling technology to minimize risk and maximize efficiency. This project is a key step toward strengthening Moncada’s water infrastructure ensuring the community has the resources it needs today and for the future.
Our team led by Engr. Kristian with a decade of field experience and technical specialisation on the topic (see his profile) went to the location to conduct a geo-resistivity survey to determine the best drilling sites, assessing the depth and quality of potential water sources. We mobilize the our drilling rig that would be fit to do the job. It can handle a job for drilling a depth of 20 meters per day.

We secured the perimeter and marked the location and build a temporary site for us to hold the drilling equipment and supplies for the projects. We coordinate with the local barangays to ask permission and give notice about the activity that we will be doing and the personnel that were included on our operations.

Using rotary drilling, percussion drilling, and rotary-percussion drilling, we carefully drilled deep wells exceeding 15 meters, ensuring optimal capacity and water flow. Despite variations in the water table and challenging geological conditions, our expertise in deep well drilling in the Philippines enabled us to navigate the complexities efficiently.

Through strategic planning and advanced drilling techniques, we successfully established deep wells that now provide a stable, high-capacity water source for the community. These wells support residential, agricultural, and commercial needs, ensuring long-term access to safe and clean water.
